Volkswagen says patent suit by Taiwan’s Acer “unfounded” – Networking

Volkswagen reported allegations created from it by Acer have been unfounded, just after a journal noted that the Taiwanese laptop maker experienced sued the German carmaker for infringing on its cellular community patents.

German weekly WirtschaftsWoche experienced noted earlier on Tuesday that Acer experienced filed a match in the US point out of Virginia, alleging that Volkswagen experienced only paid out for licences for 2G and 3G patents, but experienced mostly set up cellular telephone chips with 4G technology in the past two years.

“We will take a look at the match with each other with our suppliers and will then determine how to commence,” Volkswagen told Reuters.

“At 1st glance we have indications that the allegations and accusations created in it are unfounded and we will protect our posture,” it included, whilst declining to give further details.
