CyberCorps Offers Huskies Scholarship for Service Opportunity

Michigan Tech is a new participant in CyberCorps, a scholarship program for cybersecurity
learners funded by the National Science Basis.

Michigan Technological University is 1 of the six latest universities to be a part of the
National Science Basis (NSF) 
CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service (SFS) program, a nationwide program to recruit and train the subsequent era of details
technologies professionals, industrial command process security professionals and security
professionals.

As a participating university, Michigan Tech will receive a five-year, $3.3 million
NSF grant to deliver up to 3 decades of comprehensive scholarship assistance for twenty undergraduate
and graduate learners. In return, pursuing graduation, recipients need to operate in a
cybersecurity-associated work for federal, state, regional or tribal governing administration for a period
equal to the duration of the scholarship, amongst other needs.

Apps for Michigan Tech’s 2021-2022 cohort are now becoming accepted. Software

The SFS program at Michigan Tech entails a number of courses and departments, including
